I’m passionate about helping people and organisations learn in ways that truly make a difference — for themselves, their communities, and the planet. With over 20 years of experience in education for sustainable development and learning from nature, I’ve worked across more than 30 countries, collaborating with NGOs, governments, businesses and civil society to create meaningful change.
I’ve always enjoyed stillness and solitude in nature, sparking a passion to explore how the natural world can act as both a teacher and an entity we are deeply a part of. This passion finds a home in biomimicry. Over the past ten years, I’ve developed and delivered biomimicry education programmes across Europe, working with schools and teachers to embed nature-inspired thinking into curricula and professional development.
I founded a not-for-profit social enterprise called Wild Awake to inspire people to reconnect with the natural world and live in ways that respect its limits. Through hands-on learning experiences, curriculum design, training and consultancy, we support individuals and organisations to build healthier, happier lives and contribute to a more sustainable future.
My work blends deep technical knowledge of climate change, environmental management and sustainability with a strong track record in project delivery and strategic planning. I’m especially focused on helping organisations improve the quality of their learning provision and strengthen their capacity to deliver impactful, lasting projects.
Whether it’s designing education programmes, facilitating training, or advising on strategy, I bring energy, insight and a collaborative spirit to everything I do — always aiming to empower people with hopeful, practical solutions.
At BiomimicryNL, I am part of the BEST Project, focusing on the integration of biomimicry into school curricula.
