“Ever since I was young, my fascination with the natural world has driven my educational and career choices. After earning a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Biotechnology from Università degli studi di Ferrara, I began a master’s degree in Bio Inspired Innovation at Utrecht University.
This journey has deepened my appreciation for the workings of nature and its valuable lessons for fostering a sustainable and circular society. In the master’s program in which I am currently enrolled, I have delved into the principles of biomimicry, exploring how biological insights can lead to innovative solutions.
Joining BiomimicryNL as an intern represents a thrilling opportunity to apply my knowledge of biomimicry in practical settings. I am eager to contribute to projects that integrate natural wisdom into real-world applications, advancing BiomimicryNL’s mission and promoting a more sustainable future through bio-inspired solutions.”
Welkom, Giacomo!
